Celebrating Autumn- Our Bucket List for the Season

I absolutely love Autumn… the chill in the air, the colours, the snuggly nights in watching TV, Pumpkin Spiced everything, Halloween, Bonfire Night and Sunday Roasts. There is so much to enjoy. I asked R and H what things they would like to do during Autumn and they have come up with quite a list!! I have added a couple of my own too!

  • Make an Autumn wreath
  • Make apple crumble
  • Eat toffee apples
  • Light Autumn Scented candles
  • Have a leaf fight (You guessed it- H idea!!)
  • Decorate the house for Halloween
  • Make Halloween Crafts and Bakes
  • Pumpkin Carving
  • Have a Halloween Tea Party
  • Go for an Autumn Picnic
  • Bonfire Night at Nanny Bailey’s
  • Make Bonfire Cakes
  • Go in the hot tub in the dark
  • Make Halloween s’mores and hot chocolate
  • Go on the Halloween train at Audley End Railway

  1. Have I ever told you that I love your pictures…all so pretty, I love this list I might make a similar one with my girls – although we do already have some Autumn traditions. I am determined to go pumpkin picking this year! #sharethebloglove

  2. Oh wow, a pumpkin patch! Amazing – I’m off to look up if there are any near us, I remember seeing people at them on Instagram last year and thinking how great they all looked. We definitely want to jump in some leaves, carve a pumpkin, and I’m wondering if Max is old enough for fireworks this year (although I suspect he’s still a bit young!). We’ll also be making lots of apple crumbles and hoping that blackberry picking season isn’t over just yet. Thanks so much for joining us again at #SharingtheBlogLove

  3. Reading this has made me excited for Autumn. There are so many wonderful things to do in autumn and you have just reminded me. I really want to find some conkers this year and have fun with those just like I did as a child. Thank you for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove x

  4. I love your list, we normally go and visit a pumpkin patch although we missed last year as it chucked it down on the day we were supposed to go. I love pumpkin carving, and always do a couple. I need to start thinking what designs to go for this year, it’s serious business in our house! xx

  5. Oh I do like your Autumn bucket list. It’s definitely my most favourite season too. My list would include picnics and cooking jacket potatoes on our garden fire pit whilst we all sit snuggled in blankets.
