Rain, The 1975 and Peonies #littleloves

Its been very quiet on here lately! I have lots of draft posts that I am tweaking but have been so busy with the end of the school year reports for my class that I have had to put my little blog at the bottom of my ever growing to do list! The weeks are speeding past and we will soon be enjoying those long days of the summer holidays. I for one am in need of a slower pace for a bit and both of my two are ready for the break and a summer of fun before my baby boy joins his big sister at school .

This week my little loves are:

Read

I have been reading the lovely Giovanna Fletchers new book Always with Love, I haven’t finished it yet but am absolutely loving it. She is a fabulous writer, if you haven’t read any of her books I would really recommend them.

H has the new Supertato book by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. It is called Supertato Veggies Assemble and it is perfect for my super hero mad boy! We are loving it for our bed night stories.

Watched

I can’t really write this and not mention Game of Thrones- what an epic episode! I really wanted to watch it again the next evening. I can not wait for next week. I am hoping Arya returns to Winterfell too! I am a sucker for a happy ending!!

Made

There hasn’t been much making going on this week- unless you count the packed lunches!! I will up my game a bit next week!

Wore

Wellies!! And raincoats!! Come on Summer!!

Heard

  1. Absolutely love Peonies. Stunning, they are! Sorry to hear the weather hasn’t been great for you. It’s been quite nice up here in the Lakes, although I’m not sure how long it will last! x

  2. I’m peony obsessed too! So gutted we’re getting towards the end of the season for them, boo 😦
That battle episode of GoT truly was epic, wasn’t it. I was at the edge of my seat through out! Hope you’ve had a good week this week xx
