An Easter Home Blog Hop

DSC_0906

I am super excited to be sharing my Easter Home tour with you tonight and to be sharing the homes of some of my favourite bloggers. You will be able to read all about Keira from Dekko Bird and Christina from Ladybug Home and how they have decorated their homes for Easter if you follow the links at the bottom of each post.

I am a great lover of seasonal home style and have a rather vast collection of decorations for different times of the year. I love that when Easter or Spring comes around the colours turn pastel and there are a lot of flowers available to work with.

This year I have mostly decorated my orangery. I started as always with the Easter Tree. I love the simplicity of the branches with all the little eggs and Easter signs hanging. These are branches from my parents garden but I have also used pussy willow from the florist other years.

I have a few Easter signs and plaques which I have had a while, these are dotted around. Propped up against a vase, hanging on the peg board and laying on the table.

I have simple plain glass vases and jam jars of Spring flowers, Daffodils, Stocks and a variety of others. I also popped some little rabbits which were on sticks into the jars too and added a bit of Easter ribbon.

I have a large Kellax unit on one wall and I decided to hang bunting which is a few years old along the front. I then added greenery from my garden and a simple egg garland. I am really pleased with how this came out. I am spraying the greenery with water daily to keep it as fresh as I can.

I have then added different Easter signs, trinkets and more flowers on the empty shelves. I love to change these for the different seasons.

The table was set for an Easter Tea. I will post more details about this during the week.

I am going to send you over to Keira at Dekko Bird now to see what is happening in her home for Easter. Make sure you follow the hop all the way along and you should end up back here!

I hope you get some ideas to use in your own home.

  1. Delighted to be a part of the blog hop, Carly! Your Easter table is so inviting and cheerful – we don’t have a Home Sense in NI yet but I like to visit its sister store TK Maxx for seasonal decor for the home. I adore the pink circular tray in the centre and how you’ve styled it! Just gorgeous! Keira x
