Are you all planned for Valentines Day tomorrow? If your not I have a simple last minute idea you can throw together. Valentines in a basket! It can be a movie basket or a treats basket.
You will need:
A box or a basket
Red or pink tissue paper (I used leftover red paper napkins!)
A DVD (Beauty and the Beast for our family basket)
Valentines chocolates and candy
Popcorn
Something to drink (we had pink lemonade)
A red envelope
Hot chocolate sachets
Mini Marshmallows
Valentines decorations, scrap book paper and cocktail sticks (Optional)
Its super simple to throw together. Line your box or basket with your tissue paper and then add your treats. Larger items at the back to smaller ones at the front. I included some glass kilner jars filled with some of the treats, I added pink and red ribbons to these. I also wrapped some the items in tissue to make a few surprise treats inside.
I used the red envelope to make a hot chocolate pack adding sprinkles, marshmallows and the chocolate sachets.
You can decorate it all a little more by adding whatever you have at home. I cut hearts from scrap booking paper and stuck them onto cocktail sticks to make picks to pop into the jars of treats. Finally I laid some valentines decorations on the top.
