As January moves to February my home moves to all things pink and red! This is because I just love Valentines Day. I am a hearts and flowers kind of girl… a believer in happy endings and a super fan of soppy romantic comedies (everyone loves Four Weddings surely!).
A couple of weeks ago I was invited to my local Homesense store for an event ran by The Essex Bloggers. I spotted all things red very quickly!! Firstly their range of cards is just amazing… really high end cards for a fraction of the price. I picked up this super cute card to use as a styling prop. It was priced at £1.99 which was a steal!!
Then I found some decorations and I nearly let out a little squeal!! These weren’t your usual tacky red foil hearts but gorgeous stylish garlands which will add so much to your Valentines home. The first pack had three garlands and was priced at £6.99. There are super cute hearts, X & O’s and arrows; all in the pretty shades of reds, pinks and gold.
The second is a Meri Meri Hearts and Arrows garland and was priced at £3.99. If you follow me on Instagram or are a regular reader you will know I have a peg board which I brought from Homesense in the Summer and this gets restyled each month.
I have pegged up the garlands and the card, added a red pompom and heart fairy lights. Adding a selection of red flowers and jam jars filled with Valentine Treats and love notes. I cant wait to use the other bits for the celebrations we have planned.
Do you celebrate Valentines at home? We love to celebrate with the children and always leave them a love note and gift out to find on Valentines morning. Homesense has lovely heart sweet kebabs and lots of chocolates which would make the perfect gift for your little loves.
Homesense provided me with a giftcard to purchase these items but all words and photos are as always my own.
Linking up with Jess at Mummy of Boy Girl Twins and Caro at The Twinkle Diaries for the fabulous Home Etc.
love the card and its setting

Haha!! NO! We don’t celebrate Valentines Day in our house!! I’m a bit ‘bah humbug’ when it comes to V Day — I don;t see it a a romantic occasion — more of an opportunity to make singletons feel crap and couples to feel pressurised into declaring their love publicly!! LOL!!!! But I LOVE your VDay decorating!!! Thanks for linking up Carly! 🙂 #HomeEtc
