Hello… Can you believe that Christmas is pretty much over! I am still in that in between state where you don’t really know what day it is! We have been enjoying spending time together as a little family of four, spending time with our extended family and friends and making so many memories.
My home this month has been full of celebration and memory making. For me making memories at home is really important. I want R and H to always remember our home as a happy and joyful place. Although they all think I am a bit mad when it comes to celebrating!!
For December our home has been busting with Christmas joy… I am sure if you follow me over on Instagram you will know I love flowers. These have played a large part in our home décor this month. My Mum and Dad cut a huge selection of Holly, Ivy and other greenery for me, which has created a huge amount of arrangements and this garland across the top of the storage unit. I simply added Red Roses, Pine Cones, Eucalyptus and Fairy Lights.
In the Kitchen and Orangery I went for a very simple Christmas style of greenery, reds, whites and gingerbread. I filled every surface with jam jars and vases of flowers and greenery. I made a wreath for the table centre piece and added a large candle and mini wooden gingerbread men.
As my living room is shades of grey and cream I stuck to a snowy silver theme in there. I added Christmas cushions, stars, a garland to the mirror and yet more vases of flowers.
I went for a very simple breakfast table to start the day on Christmas Day and then added a white table cloth and some more formal table styling for the main event.
Our home has been full of delicious foods and drinks too this month. Including a yummy Igloo Cake and a Gingerbread House which H and R loved building with me.
December has been bliss around here! And it has been fabulous over on Instagram too! I have loved seeing all the amazing posts in the #myhomeindecember community. Thank you so much to everyone who joined in. I really did struggle to choose nine favourites this month!
